Welcome To Truss
TRUSS is a proprietary endeavor in every sense. We are rooted in a shared respect for our land, a love for unhurried hospitality, and a belief that the best things are built together. The name TRUSS was inspired by Winemaker and Proprietor Kyle Jury’s lifelong interest in architecture. A truss bridge uses interconnected triangular elements to support a shared load. It reminds us of the many hands, ideas and influences that go into making every bottle.
TRUSS also signifies the Jury family’s own story. Kyle and his wife Brittany, an interior designer, are the anchors, and their children complete the structure. Kyle believes that winemaking, like architecture, is at its best when it respects the raw energy of the land, molding it to create something original and beautiful.
Stewardship and Hospitality
For more than 20 years, the estate where TRUSS sits has produced some of Paso Robles’ most acclaimed wines. Today, we proudly carry this story forward with intention and originality. First planted in 2002, the vineyard that now forms our estate helped spark the Rhône varietal movement in Paso Robles. After assuming stewardship of this legacy property in 2024, Kyle sought to expand on this heritage, developing a signature winemaking style that he calls “beauty in structure.”
Our new tasting room is designed to spark connection and conversation, and we welcome you here in a spirit of classic California hospitality. In Kyle’s words, “Our aim is to make a unique mark on Paso Robles with both our wines and tasting experience.”
